Meet Dr. Cullinan

Hello! My name is Dr. Sean Cullinan. I have practiced at Family Dental since 2006 and am thrilled to have overseen the construction of our fabulously modern new facility at 908 Waukegan Rd. in Glenview! I graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. My philosophy of care is to provide high-quality conservative dentistry, incorporating the latest dental technologies, with patient comfort given the highest priority.  I am a huge proponent of continuing education. To that end, I have taken 100s of hours of CE in cosmetic dentistry (porcelain veneers, porcelain inlays/onlays, all ceramic crowns), orthodontics (Invisalign certified), endodontics, and implants. I grew up in Glenview, attending OLPH, Springman, and graduating from Loyola Academy in 1996. Continuing my Jesuit education experience, I completed my B.A. in history at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. As part of a medical team composed of physicians, dentists, optometrists, and nurses from around the country, I participated in a medical mission trip to support underserved communities in Africa and India while in dental school. My family recently moved to the suburbs after 14 years in the city.  Outside dentistry, I enjoy time with my wife and our 4 sons, coaching their teams at the Winnetka Hockey Club.  We are also active Saints Joseph and Francis Xavier Parish parishioners in Wilmette.  The highlight of my life is spending time with family: my parents, siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews, many of whom reside here on the North Shore!  I am honored to continue the practice my father started 42 years ago.   Our family practice is grateful for the generations of families that have chosen us for their dental care.  I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Arcolian Dental Society.
